Online Privacy Test

The Online Privacy Test tests what information is sent by your web browser to a web server, including your IP addresses, website cookies and other technical data about your browser and computer.

Your IP address can be used to distinguish your computer from others, locate your city and country, and in some cases, even your physical home address.

Website cookies help to track site visits, time spent on sites, and to store important data such as logins and affiliate IDs. Clearing browsing history often reduces the amount of data sent by browsers.

At best, this information will be used to show you targeted advertising and for websites you visit to provide better service. At worst, this information will be used for tracking your online activities and habits and to discover your physical location.

If you don't want your information to be revealed, you can use an anonymizing proxy server or special software for hiding your IP address.

Check below to see what information your browser sends to a web server.
