Internet Security Test

The Internet Security Test scans your system for any open ports and verifies if your computer is reachable outside of your network.

The Internet Security Test pings about 140 common TCP/IP ports used by most popular services and software, as well as scans ports manually specified for the internet security test.

To bypass firewalls and proxies, threats usually use common TCP/IP ports. To reduce security risks and number of open ports, you must install a firewall, which should be configured correctly for your system.

Usually, as a rule, there should be no ports open on your computer. If our Internet Security Test locates any open ones and you were unaware of this, then this is an alarm, a red signal, for you to take action against trojans and spyware.

Important! Please note, when scanning ports the Internet Security Test generates some incoming traffic on your network, and when running this test at your workplace, please make sure that you have sufficient rights granted by your network administrator.
